Black Is The Color Of Love
Black Is the Color of Love,, a (501c3 pending) subsidiary of ESTEEM, a behavioral health and motivational center. Our mission statement is “Educating children through educating parents”. Our services are for ALL children, not just black children. We’re not going to just “talk” about the no child left behind act of 2001, we’re going to “be” about it.
Our founder, Dr. Stephan M. Scoggins, has traveled across the country and consistently discovered that the true disservice to children is having parents and guardians who are not adequately assisted in becoming knowledgeable technologically, emotionally and financially to facilitate the learning process of their children.
There has been far too much finger pointing from parents to teachers and teachers to parents. The common denominator is the child who needs the parent or guardian to be actively involved in their child’s education to maximize the opportunities for the child’s future.
Black Is the Color of Love utilizes “ESTEEM University” to provide parents and guardians with the instruction, tools and resources to get their children from grammar school to the Grammys, if they so choose. Across the country, we have partnered with some phenomenal public and private schools, colleges and community organizations, providing amazing college scholarships, employment, housing and many other resources that parents need.
